Portal 2 release date confirmed

Valve stepped up at Gamescom to do exactly what we’ve been waiting for: announce a release date for one of the most anticipated games around.

Make a big red circle on your calenders, gamers, because Portal 2 will be released on February 9, 2011 on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox360.

If you weren’t following the happenings of E3, Valve boss Gabe Newell announced Portal 2 for the PS3 at this year’s E3, during Sony’s press conference, stating that it would be the “best version on any console”.

On the same note, Valve also ruled out 3D and Move support for Portal 2.
