Halo Reach ‘Remember Reach’ short film
Anyone who follows the story of the Halo series as much as they enjoy lobbing sticky grenades will find the new live action Halo Reach trailers most compelling.
Taking a break from the grandeur and explosions of the in-game trailers, this is one of a few live-action pieces put together in the run up to Halo Reach’s release (which is receiving the biggest ever Xbox marketing push), giving you a more realistic, empathetic insight into what went down on Reach before it was obliterated by war with the Covenant.
More intriguing though, and perhaps the diorama equivalent for this campaign, is a real life giant robot arm which visitors can interact with via the site. By logging in via Facebook, Halo fans can contribute to a virtual monument being created by the robot in tribute to the Noble team of warriors, who defended planet Reach. As in the Halo: Believe campaign, the idea here is one of remembrance toward war heroes, a concept of course familiar from the real world, rather than just a gaming notion.
