Last week at gamescom, BioWare revealed more of Dragon Age 2 through a short “Destiny” trailer. Now, BioWare has unveiled an even bigger version of the trailer, the “Director’s Cut.”

The footage, lasting 2:47 seconds is pretty epic. The video shows our protagonist, Hawke, taking on a terrifying demonic boss. Draggin his huge sword along the ground, Hawke runs at the demonic boss, triggering an awesome battle filled with magical fire, beard cutting in slo-mo, and lightning.

The trailer easily amps up our desire for this game, which comes out next spring, on March 8 for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. It’s been a pretty quick turnaround for the series and it’s also going to be a major game changer for the series. Apparently, BioWare is brining a more streamlined feel to the game and removing the more intense PC RPG playing aspects that were so prevalent in the first game.

Check out the trailer for yourself.
