The Bible MMO announced, praise the lord!

Gamers will soon be able to explore the Christian account of the beginning of the world by running fetch quests and grinding for materials. Last week publisher FIAA announced The Bible Online, a browser-based MMORTS that follows the story of the Bible from the beginning.

The game allows you to create a nomadic tribe in the early days of the Earth and accept quests from Biblical stars such as Abraham. The screenshots make it look a little like Age of Empires, although the actual gameplay is apparently turn-based.

We don’t really have a clue who publisher FIAA is (nor even what that apparent acronym stands for). Their other titles include Kalos War, a more traditional fantasy MMO, and Operation 7, a military FPS. So yeah, The Bible Online is clearly their most ambitious and unique game, at the very least.

Chapter 1 of The Bible Online, which is based on the Book of Genesis, will go into beta on September 6. Check out their official site if you’d like to sign up.
