New Bond game inevitable with film in production
The 23rd James Bond film has been approved and with it naturally means that there will also be a new game tie-in as well.
No details on the upcoming game have been released such as whether it will ship with the release of the movie (we’re guessing it will), who will make it, or whether it will be tied to the plot of the film, but according to Hollywood blog Deadline, the game has been given the go-ahead.
Late last year, there were rumors that Raven Software was working on a stealth-based Bond title, but whether this newly minted official title is indeed Raven’s project is unknown.
The as-yet-unnamed movie (currently dubbed Bond 23) will be directed by Sam Mendes (American Beauty), star Daniel Craig, and come out on November 9, 2012.
