Thirdparty developers sign on to support NGP

Sony reels off list of over 80 thirdparties supporting newly-announced PSP successor.
A host of thirdparty developers and publishers have signed up to make and release games for PSP successor NGP.
Sony announced the device, codenamed Next Generation Portable, at an event in Tokyo yesterday, with some of the bigger names showing their wares onstage.
Jun Takeuchi of Capcom showed off PSP smash Monster Hunter Portable 3rd running on NGP, as well as a video of Lost Planet 2. Konami’s Hideo Kojima showed a cutscene from the PS3 version of Metal Gear Solid 4, which had been exported directly to NGP.
Sega’s Toshihiro Nagoshi demoed a video of Yakuza 4, Tim Sweeney of Epic showed the Unreal-powered Dungeon Defenders, and Philip Earl of Activision announced a Call Of Duty title for the platform.
