Splinter Cell, Prince of Persia trilogies delayed

Ubisoft has delayed the PlayStation 3 exclusives Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Classic Trilogy HD and Prince of Persia Trilogy HD.

IGN have reported that the Splinter Cell collection, due out now, has slipped to June 21, 2011. Prince of Persia Trilogy HD, which was announced alongside the Splinter Cell collection has slipped as well. Some US retailers are now listing it available on April 19.

The Tom Clancy set includes the original Splinter Cell, Pandora Tomorrow, and Chaos Theory. The Prince of Persia set includes The Sands of Time, Warrior Within, and Two Thrones.  Both sets come with HD and stereoscopic 3D support. The Prince of Persia games are already available for download through the PlayStation Network in North America.
