Tomb Raider Trilogy screens show improved visuals

Crystal Dynamics has released a new set of screenshots for Tomb Raider Trilogy, the upcoming PS3 compilation that gives a few older Lara Croft adventures an HD makeover.
The screens have been released alongside identical shots taken from the original games, giving us a good idea of how the titles will stack up. As you might expect, the HD shots look a lot sharper, with greater detail on textures, character models and lighting.
In some cases the environments have also been changed slightly to introduce fresh eye-candy such as Aztec architecture or new mountainous terrain.
Square Enix has confirmed Tomb Raider Legend, Anniversary and Underworld will be available in the pack, which is scheduled to hit the US on March 22 and everywhere else three days later.
