Almost a decade after the original and eight years since the sequel, Rockstar Games has tweeted 2 new Max Payne images today, proving once and for all that the franchise is still in the pipeline.
Max Payne 3 was originally scheduled for a 2009 release, but after a series of delays the game was pushed back, and then it failed to make Rockstar Games’ 2011-2012 release list.
Information on the new title is still sketchy – the slightly stingy Max Payne 3 Web site contains only a few cinematic screens, buddy icons, avatars and wallpaper.
