The Last Guardian, Ico/Shadow of the Colossus Collection delayed
The Last Guardian will be pushed back to next year, though no timeframe has been given. And, as if that wasn’t bad enough, due to The Last Guardian’s delay, the ICO/Shadow of the Colossus Collection set to release on the Playstation Network will also be delayed.
The news broke on Playstation’s blog earlier today. Fumito Ueda (pictured above), the game’s director and designer, had this to say, “I announced at last year’s Tokyo Game Show that the release of timing of The Last Guardian, which is currently being developed, would be holiday 2011. However, to provide more challenging and better quality to users and to fulfill First Party Studio’s obligations, I decided to postpone the release timing.”
The good news is that they are doing their best to make sure that a top-quality product will be released.
