EA officially unveils Need for Speed: The Run

Electronic Arts today announced Need for Speed: The Run, a new game developed by Black Box that lures players back to the exhilarating world of high-stakes illegal racing.
T he plot focuses on a cross-country race from San Francisco to New York. Players will have to navigate the world’s most dangerous roads, from icy mountain passes to urban streets, whilst also avoiding the overzealous police force that always seems willing to use lethal force to slow you down.
Powered by DICE‘s Frostbite 2 engine, Need for Speed: The Run will be available on November 15, 2011 in North America and November 17, 2011 in Europe, for PC, Xbox 360, PS3, Wii and DS.
