Circulating rumours that the third installment in the Modern Warfare series would be out in November now appear to be true.
Call of Duty is arguably the most popular shooter franchise on the consoles. A huge leak of info was reported yesterday from a “trusted source” at developer Infinity Ward. The source reveals that the game’s official title will be “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3″ and the scheduled release date will be November 8, 2011.
An official teaser trailer has also been released showing America being attacked by missiles with some sinister Russian voiceovers. Has Call of Duty gone all ‘Red Dawn’ on us? Check it out:
