LulzSec hackers disband after 50 days

With the FBI closing in, and even other hacker groups trying to out its members, the group known as LulzSec said it had accomplished its mission, claiming responsibility for security breaches at targets including the CIA, Sony and the US Senate.
In a statement on its website the group said: “Our planned 50 day cruise has expired and we must now sail into the distance leaving behind, we hope, inspiration, fear, denial, happiness, approval, disapproval, mockery, embarrassment, thoughtfulness, jealousy, hate, even love.” LulzSec has also claimed responsibility for bringing down the website of the Brazilian government.
LulzSec is believed to have been a splinter from “Anonymous,” a coalition of computer hackers that targeted WikiLeaks, the whistle-blowing website.
Last week, as part of a Scotland Yard and FBI probe into LulzSec, Essex teenager Ryan Cleary, 19 was arrested.
