Resistance gets free-to-play web game

Insomniac Games has released a free strategy game called Global Resistance.

Global Resistance lets you play a Human or Chimera commander. You must build a base, juggle resources, and deploy forces to capture territories across the globe. The battles play out in little animated cutscenes. You can play with or against friends via PSN or Facebook.

Playing Global will allow you to earn rewards — you could earn skins, in-game titles or XP boosters for Resistance 3.
