The multiplayer beta for Ubisoft’s upcoming Assassin’s Creed Revelations kicked off on the PlayStation Network over the weekend.

The beta started on Saturday for members of Sony’s PlayStation Plus members and a select few from Ubisoft’s Uplay rewards program.

The multiplayer beta lets players choose from one of 9 character types — The Sentinel, The Vanguard, The Guardian, The Vizier, The Thespian, The Deacon, The Bombardier, The Trickster or The Champion.

There are 3 maps available — Knight’s Hospital, Antioch, Constantinople — and playable modes will include Wanted, Manhunt, Deathmatch and Artifact Assault.

The beta will end Sept 11. Ubisoft will release Assassin’s Creed Revelations, the fourth main installment in the AC series, on Nov. 15 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.
