Ubisoft’s ‘I Am Alive’ coming to XBLA and PSN

Ubisoft has lifted the lid on post-apocalyptic adventure I Am Alive, revealing that it will be an R-rated download-only game featuring ‘thought-provoking choices’.
I Am Alive follows a man’s journey to find his wife and daughter, who were lost during the “Event.” Set a year after the disaster, his hometown, Haventon, is in ruins, with humanity fighting to survive.
“We know people have been waiting for this game to arrive, and we believe it’s going to be worth the wait,” said Adam Novickas, director of marketing at Ubisoft. “I Am Alive presents a unique take on the post apocalyptic, survival genre by creating more complex and emotional situations for the player. Xbox LIVE Arcade and PlayStation Network are the perfect platforms to leverage the mature and challenging experiences of the game.”
A “unique combat system” requires players to utilise intimidation, scaring off potential threats with an empty gun. Not everyone the player comes across will be so easy to conquer, however.
There’s been no specific announcement regarding a release date, other than to say the game is coming ‘this winter’.
