Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City dated
Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City has been given an official US release date.
Capcom confirmed that the first-person survival horror spinoff will launch on March 20 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. A PC edition will follow, but its launch date has yet to be announced.
Operation Raccoon City is set during the events of the second and third games of the Resident Evil series. Players take control of an Umbrella Security Service soldier, teaming up with four players (similar to Left 4 Dead) as they blast through the city in search of the undead.
A special edition version of Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City will also be available, bundled with various collectables and bonus weapons.
Release dates for Europe and Australasia are yet to be confirmed.
