Metal Gear Solid: Rising gets a new producer

Shigenobu Matsuyama has announced that he will be stepping down as the producer on Konami’s upcoming MGS spin-off, Metal Gear Solid: Rising.

Kojima Productions producer, Ken-ichiro Imaizumi made the announcement over Twitter that Matsuyama has moved to another position within the company and has been replaced by Metal Gear production manager, Yuji Korekado.

Korekado-san said: “Rising producer Matsuyama has now moved to another department. Yuji Korekado is the producer instead.”

Matsuyama-san was first named as Hideo Kojima’s replacement as producer on Metal Gear Solid: Rising back in June at this year’s E3.
