Dragon Age multiplayer mode rumoured

BioWare’s fantasy RPG series Dragon Age may expand beyond its single-player roots.

Dragon Age will apparently be getting a multiplayer component of its own in a future title or expansion, according to rumours from Kotaku.

Kotaku is reporting that the multiplayer is being developed using DICE’s acclaimed Frostbite 2 engine, and is said to be looking great.

However, it remains unknown if multiplayer will be included in the hotly-anticipated Dragon Age III, or made available via a separate download.

Dragon Age III has yet to be officially unveiled, though received something of an informal announcement via a Tweet by BioWare’s Alistair McNally back in May.
