Grand Theft Auto III coming soon to iOS, Android
An anniversary edition of the classic open-world action game Grand Theft Auto III will land on the Android and iOS platforms on Dec. 15.
The US$4.99 game is available for the iPad, the fourth-generation iPod Touch and the iPhone 4 and 4S. Here is a list of the Android devices supporting the game:
Smartphones: HTC Rezound, LG Optimus 2x, Motorola Atrix 4G, Motorola Droid X2, Motorola Photon 4G, Samsung Galaxy R, T-Mobile G2x
Tablets: Acer Iconia, Asus Eee Pad Transformer, Dell Streak 7, LG Optimus Pad, Motorola Xoom, Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 and 10.1, Sony Tablet S, Toshiba Thrive
The title from studio Rockstar Games celebrated its 10-year anniversary in October. The original made its debut on the PlayStation 2 in 2001, and served as a pioneer of the “sandbox” style video game, where players could explore freely and complete objectives in any order they chose.
