Original Killzone coming to PSN this month

Sony has confirmed that the original Killzone will be added to the PlayStation Store as a PlayStation 2 classic.
Killzone debuted in November of 2004 and started the franchise that led to popular titles Killzone 2, Killzone: Liberation and last year’s Killzone 3.
A listing for the first-person shooter initially appeared through the ESRB, with Sony later confirming that it will release for US$9.99 via the PlayStation Network on January 24.
Unfortunately, it will not be an in HD Collection form – instead the game will be a direct port of the 2004 PlayStation 2 shooter, without trophies or any added fluff.
A new Killzone title is currently in development for PlayStation Vita.
