The studio Just Add Water has revealed via Twitter that it is remaking Oddworld: Munch’s Oddysee in high definition for release during the second quarter of 2012.
Oddworld: Munch’s Oddysee HD is in development for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita. Just Add Water also said that it plans to bring it to “other systems” in the future.
Oddworld Stranger’s Wrath was recently given a HD makeover and released via the PlayStation Network. A remake of the first game in the series, Abe’s Oddysee HD, was announced last year.
The PSone versions of Abe’s Oddysee and its sequel Abe’s Exodus are also available to purchase through PSN.
Oddworld: Munch’s Oddysee HD will be released in Q2, 2012.
