Diablo III senior producer departs Blizzard

Blizzard senior producer Steve Parker has announced that his work on Diablo III is over, and he’s leaving the company to pursue new opportunities.

The producer made his announcement on Twitter, tweeting, “Hey Twitter, I’m no longer working at Blizzard or on D3. I’ve had a great 5 years there and those guys are going to do an amazing job with Diablo.”

No specific reason was given for Parker’s departure, though it could be speculated his job is complete with Diablo III reportedly late in development.

Parker joined Blizzard in 2006 from California based Battle Realms developer Liquid Entertainment, where he held the position of producer.
