Prototype 2 RADNET Edition detailed

Radical Entertainment has revealed Prototype 2’s RADNET Edition, giving early adopters the chance to bag a bunch of extra content for the shape-shifting sequel.
Pre-order your copy of the game and you’ll get a one-time code to access RADNET, giving you access to 55 pieces of extra content. RADNET functions like Mass Effect 2′s Cerberus Network, and unloads extra content over a seven-week period following Prototype 2′s launch.
Among the extra content up for grabs include in-game Events, Challenges, Avatars, Items, Dynamic Themes and Behind-the-Scenes videos, plus bonus Mutations for the main campaign.
Players who participate in all weekly RADNET challenges and events will unlock a special reward, though Radical’s keeping mum on that particular detail until March.
Radical Entertainment studio boss Ken Rosman commented: “Radical Entertainment has always focused on bringing long lasting fun to its fans, and PROTOTYPE 2’s RADNET content is our way of rewarding the game’s most loyal supporters – the early adopters, the one’s who will replay it over and over again.”
“We think this is great because we’re giving our fans hours of additional gameplay outside PROTOTYPE 2’s main narrative, and cool rewards – all delivered weekly following the game’s launch!”
Prototype 2 is due out on PlayStation 3, PC and Xbox 360 on April 24, 2012.
