Spec Ops The Line: new screens released

2K Games has revealed a bunch of new artwork and screens showing Spec Ops: The Line, the missing-in-action shooter which finally resurfaced late last year.
First announced in 2009 and described as “a provocative and gripping third-person modern military shooter,” players assume the role of Captain Walker, a U.S. Delta Force soldier on a harrowing rescue mission to save the damned 33rd squad of the U.S. Infantry.
Set against the backdrop of a sandstorm-ravaged Dubai, Spec Ops: The Line is 2K’s first foray into the modern military genre, combining its trademark narrative depth with compelling action to move players beyond the simple conflicts of good-versus-bad.

Spec Ops: The Line was originally supposed to arrive last year, but it’s now on track for release in later in 2012.
