Ubisoft: Assassin’s Creed 3 coming in October

Ubisoft has just announced that next game title in Assassin’s Creed franchise currently known as Assassin’s Creed 3.

An October 30 release date has been confirmed by Ubi boss Yves Guillemot during a call with investors. Guillemot further stated that Assassin’s Creed 3 will be the “the biggest launch in Ubisoft history.”

“We will push the title a lot because it’s a fantastic product that the team has been working for three years,” he said during an investor call today. “What we have seen is just fabulous.”

Ubisoft head Guillemot also confirmed it has shipped 7 million copies of Assassin’s Creed Revelations to date.

So far all that is known about Assassin’s Creed 3 is that it will likely feature new leading character. More details are expected from Ubisoft in coming days.
