Mech combat title ‘Reign of Thunder’ announced
The studio that first brought Mech games to consoles are returning to their roots with Reign of Thunder, a heavy-action giant Mech game.
Day 1 Studios has officially announced “Reign of Thunder”, an all new Mech IP.
“Mech fans have been asking us for years to return to the genre and we’ve been listening”, said Day 1 Studios. “Reign of Thunder is an all new Mech IP being developed by the people who brought you the award winning MechAssault series”.
“We’ve been hard at work creating a hard hitting, fast paced, explosive action game with all the customization options you could ever want.”
This third person action-combat game allows players to create and customize Mechs to match their play style, choosing from thousands of weapon, shield, and gadget combinations. Players can also join factions and form clans to support community engagement and team play.
