Bethesda now hiring for next-gen console project

Bethesda Game Studios is hiring a programmer for “future generation consoles.”
The job listing reveals that the studio is “looking for experienced programmers to work on cutting-edge technology for an unannounced game on future-generation consoles.”
Preferred skills include working with DirectX 11, which could indicate the kind of visual standard expected on the next round of home console hardware.
Bethesda may look to kick things off on the new gen of consoles with a brand new IP. However, a new chapter from one of their two main franchises (Elder Scrolls & Fallout) seems a lot more likely.
Considering that Skyrim was released late last year and Fallout 3 has gone for three and a half years without a proper sequel, an instalment of the later seems to be the best bet.
As for an actual official announcement on the new title, all will hopefully be revealed at this year’s E3 event in Los Angeles. Stay tuned.
