Assassins Creed Utopia Assassins Creed Utopia coming to mobile Ubisoft and GREE have announced a new mobile game called Assassin’s Creed Utopia.

Utopia’s story focuses on the early settlers of America around the end of the 16th century. Players are tasked with building their own settlement.

The single piece of artwork released shows two assassins’s perched high above a village, hinting at some sort of co-operative gameplay elements, but there doesn’t appear to be any tie-in with Assassin’s Creed III.

“There are no links between the games,” Assassin’s Creed producer Andreane Meunier revealed. “But the narrative will lead into the AC3 narrative, since it’s a kind of pre-era to the Assassin’s Creed 3 era.”

“We’re working together to make a unique experience on mobile that’s not going to be just ‘casual’, but that can also be related to more ‘hardcore’ brands,” said Meunier.

“What we’ve been looking at is to have a true Assassin’s Creed experience, to make sure the fans and those that know and love the brand really recognise the Assassin’s Creed touch”, he added.
