Bethesda has revealed that the long awaited Skyrim DLC is “close” to arriving for the PS3.
The game’s first two major DLC offerings have not yet been released on PS3 due to ongoing performance issues.
In an effort to soothe understandably frustrated PS3 fans, Bethesda have announced some news today via their official Twitter account, stating“…we’re also close on new Skyrim content for PS3 and PC.”
Skyrim’s first expansion, Dawnguard, was released for Xbox 360 and PC months ago, followed up by ‘Hearthfire’, which arrived on the Xbox 360 back in September.
PS3 players have had to endure a long silence from Bethesda, meanwhile a third DLC expansion package, ‘Dragonborn’, has been announced available first on Xbox 360 from December 4.
Bethesda hasn’t commented any further, though they did say that the tweet was “meant to inform fans new content is coming to PC and PS3.”
Hopefully we’ll have a release date from Bethesda soon.
