Square Enix has made its multiplayer Tomb Raider game Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light free-to-play on the company’s Core Online platform.
Square Enix debuted a new online service earliesr this year, which lets you play some of Eidos’ major games in your browser for free.
In Lara Croft and the Guardian, Lara Croft finds the long lost Temple of Light in the mountains of Central America and unwittingly frees an evil spirit determined to plunge the world into eternal darkness. Alongside Totec, a Mayan tribesman, Lara must hunt down the Mirror of Smoke in what will be a new adventure.
Titles currently available on Core Online include Hitman: Blood Money and Mini Ninjas. Also in the works for Core Online is Tomb Raider: Underworld and Gyromancer.
