Rockstar Games has released the latest trailer for Grand Theft Auto V.
The new clip is all cut-scenes with no in-game action, and provides a brief introduction of all three of the main characters along with a preview of how each of their lives will intersect with one another.
Grand Theft Auto V has three protagonists that you can switch between and takes place in a re-imagined, present-day Southern California in the largest and most thriving game-world Rockstar Games have ever created.
“Just at the conceptual level, the idea was three separate stories that you play in one game,” Rockstar boss Dan Houser explained. “The next bit was, let’s not have the stories intersect once or twice but have them completely interwoven. It felt like it was going to be a real narrative strength: you get to play the protagonist and the antagonist in the same story.”
The first GTA V trailer, released last November, has racked up 27 million hits on Rockstar’s YouTube channel, which is hugely impressive given that a lot of gaming sites will host the trailer themselves.

Grand Theft Auto V is expected to launch worldwide during spring 2013 (around April/May) for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
