Ken Levine No multiplayer planned for Bioshock Infinite

Irrational Games boss Ken Levine has revealed via his personal Twitter account that BioShock: Infinite will not feature any kind of multiplayer mode.

Ken Levine took to Twitter over the weekend when he replied to two separate questions about the inclusion of multiplayer in BioShock Infinite.”Nope” and “no multi” were his responses to the queries, thus ending speculation once and for all.

BioShock Infinite puts players in the role of Booker DeWitt, a hard-bitten former Pinkerton agent, together with the revolutionary AI companion, Elizabeth. The two struggle to escape the sky-city of Columbia, in a 1912 America that might have been.

The BioShock series has shipped more than 9 million copies worldwide.

BioShock Infinite is set to be available on February 26th, 2013 for PC Xbox 360 and PS3.
