Karl Stewart, Global Brand Director at Crystal Dynamics, announced via Twitter that “there are no plans to release a demo of Tomb Raider pre-launch”. The reason? They don’t want to spoil the story.

On Twitter, Crystal Dynamics global brand director Karl Stewart said, the development team doesn’t feel “spoiling it by having you wait a week or so to play on, delivers on our promise.”

Tomb Raider delivers an intense and gritty story of the origins of Lara Croft and her ascent from frightened young woman to hardened survivor, armed with only raw instincts and the physical ability to push beyond the limits of human endurance.

Tomb Raider is expected to be available on March 5th, for PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.
