‘God of War: Ascension’ single player trailer

Having spent recent weeks pushing the new multiplayer aspects of God of War, Sony has today revealed a teaser trailer showing off some single player footage.

This newest trailer hints at the reasons why Kratos struggles so much with anger management, showing glimpses of combat with giant mythical beasts.

God of War: Ascension’s plot takes place before the events of the first God of War and sees the Ghost of Sparta attempt to break free of Ares’ bonds.

God of War: Ascension is currently being developed by Sony Computer Entertainment America Santa Monica Studio, the same company who had worked on the previous main games in the series (God of War, God of War II and God of War III).
