GRID 2 9 GRID 2: single player campaign revealed, first full length trailer, new screens

Codemasters have released the first full-length GRID 2 gameplay trailer and lifted the lid on the game’s ambitious single-player campaign.

In GRID 2, players will be cast as an up and coming driving star, plucked from obscurity by the racing entrepreneur, Patrick Callahan, who is hell-bent on bringing racing to a broader audience.

“A lot of racing games out there, they tend to lack a bit of soul, you know what I mean?” , said executive producer Clive Moody.   “They can be quite a dry experience, and so we’re trying to pull this together into something that’s a little bit more interesting, a little bit more compelling, and actually gets away from that grind of doing event after event or collecting cars. It gives some sense of purpose to it.”

Take a look at the new trailer and the stunning screens in the gallery below.

GRID 2 will race into Australian & New Zealand retail on 30th May for the Xbox 360, PS3 and Windows PC.
