Two separate leaks have uncovered new details on Bungie’s next game project “Destiny”, ahead of the developer’s promised Sunday reveal.
Giant retailer GameStop has received pre-order posters, which features new artwork and info about the game. According to the attached fact sheet, Destiny is described as “an FPS with cooperative and competitive multiplayer modes” and the game will feature an “always-connected universe” with “public and social activities,” which likely means they are looking at social media integration.
Meanwhile French retailer Micromania has a listing that claims the game will release on October 6. The leak also revealed a description of the game, which has been translated:
“Everything changed with the arrival of Voyageur. It was originally a Golden Age that allowed our civilization to establish itself in the solar system. But it could not last. Something we put ashore broke. The survivors built a city in the Voyageur before returning explore our ancient worlds where only mortal enemies awaited them.”
“You are a Guardian, protector of last haven of life on Earth, armed with incredible powers. You must defend the city. Defeat our enemies. And look what we have lost. Be strong.”
Activision and Bungie have scheduled their official unveil for Sunday.
