leaked Watch Dogs poster Leaked poster says Ubisoft’s Watch Dogs is coming to all home consoles in 2013

A leaked promo poster for Watch Dogs has surfaced (via Kotaku) on the web today. The poster indicates that Ubisoft’s futuristic, sci-fi shooter will be available during this holiday 2013 season on “all home consoles.”

Ubi boss Yves Guillemot had previously confirmed that the publisher was targeting a 2013 release, and that the game would be available on PS3, Xbox and PC. But the game’s striking good looks led most to believe that Watch Dogs could be a next-gen title.

The leaked poster appears to back this up, describing Watch Dogs as a “truly next-gen adventure.”  Does this mean that the game will also be releasing on Sony’s and Microsoft’s as yet unannounced next-gen consoles? And what about the Wii U?

Ubisoft could be holding out until E3 to make an official announcement. Given Watch Dogs stunning debut at last year’s event, the French publisher will want to make another strong showing this year.  And with Sony likely to unveil its next-gen plans this week we might not even have to wait that long.
