In an all-new storyline that takes place between the events of Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 5, Resident Evil Revelations follows branching stories of franchise favourite characters Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield.

Full of conspiracies and plot twists, Resident Evil Revelations is told in the style of a TV drama as players work to discover the location of Chris Redfield, the source of the T-Virus, and the intentions of a mysterious terrorist organization, Veltro.

Resident Evil: Revelations is available now exclusive for Nintendo 3DS.

Bethesda has just announced that the Skyrim Creation Kit is now available for download, and it comes with a special treat.

Along with the Creation kit, PC fans have been treated to a free high resolution texture pack for download, this will be a welcome addition to all those who feel as though the graphics have been held down by the console versions.

Make sure your system requirements exceed Skyrim’s recommended specs before attempting to install, including Windows Vista or 7 operating system, a minimum of 4GB of system RAM, and a DirectX 9.0c compatible NVIDIA or AMD ATI video card with at least 1 GB of RAM and the latest drivers.

Ubisoft has revealed the latest trailer for their post-apocalyptic themed survival game, I Am Alive.

In the latest trailer, our hero talks about the importance of climbing, managing stamina and exploring the vicinity for resources in the ruins of Haventon.

I Am Alive is described as a post-apocalyptic action/adventure game, and is set for release on the Xbox LIVE Arcade and the PlayStation Network.

Developed by Ubisoft Shanghai, I Am Alive was engineered to create a convincing, post-disaster world in which players are faced with thought-provoking choices instead of shooting their way through their problems.

I Am Alive will release on Xbox LIVE Arcade during House Party on March 7.

Sony Computer Entertainment has just released a new DLC for Uncharted 3.

Titled the Fort Co-op Adventure, this multiplayer-only DLC places players into the roles of Uncharted villains Harry Flynn, Eddy Raja and Zoran Lazarevic. It’s a co-op mission for three players.

The adventure further explores the mystery behind the Janus head statue in the co-op mission that comes with Uncharted 3. The adventure is priced at US$5.99.

Sony has also released several skin packs for Uncharted 3, which includes the Donut Skin Pack, and Rogues Skin Packs 1 & 2. Sony also plans to release the Flashback Map Pack 2 on February 21 for US$9.99.

All of the content contained within the DLCs is available for anyone who’s a part of the Fortune Hunters’ Club, which gives players total access to all the game’s DLCs for a flat price of US$24.99.

Warner Bros. have revealed that Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection is available for digital download for PC gamers, offering the original Mortal Kombat arcade trilogy – Mortal Kombat, Mortal Kombat 2 and Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 – in a single collection.

The Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection delivers these Mortal Kombat arcade classics for AUD $9.99 via Steam, Gamestop’s Impulse, Direct2Drive, Gametap and others.

Developed by Other Ocean in conjunction with NetherRealm studios, the Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection allows fans to play through the games in their original arcade state and rediscover all their favorite characters, fatalities and environments as well as relive some of the franchise’s most memorable secrets.

The PC collection will feature online play, leaderboards, achievements and trophies.

Remedy has released a new developer diary video for Alan Wake’s American Nightmare.

The video features a trio of the game’s developers who detail how the Xbox Live Arcade sequel came about. The devs compare the original Alan Wake to Stephen King, with Alan Wake’s American Nightmare more similar to Quentin Tarantino.

The game will feature a full story mode as well as the arcade-style ‘Fight Till Dawn’ survival mode.

The original Alan Wake has been announced for release on PC on February 16.

Alan Wake’s American Nightmare will release on Xbox Live Arcade on February 22 as part of the Xbox Live House Party promotion.

Cyanide has released a new trailer for their upcoming RPG title, ‘Game of Thrones’.  The short video highlights one of the many towns in the RPG, called “Riverspring”.

The game is under development by developer Cyanide, the same studio that created the recent Game of Thrones: Genesis on PC.

The role-playing game promises an adventure more than 30 hours long, with a story taking place during the events of the books written under the supervision of George R R Martin.

Riverspring, a new town created exclusively for the video game, joins key areas around the Seven Kingdoms that players will explore. Fans craving to know more about Alester, Sarwyck Keep, and the town of Riverspring can visit the official website.

Atlus also today confirmed that Game of Thrones would release on May 15 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.

Aliens: Colonial Marines has received a new trailer. The video shows gameplay footage of the marines fighting aliens in dark, atmospheric environments.

Aliens: Colonial Marines features a four-player co-operative campaign and enemies brand new to the Alien canon.  Speaking with PlayStation Blog, Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford recently said that multiplayer will be as big a focus as the campaign and is “getting a huge amount of attention”.

The game will also focus on “gritty realism” in its action, though Pitchford laments it is difficult to show that through the game’s promotional footage.

Set 11 months after the events of the second movie, it will see Marines crash-land on LV-426 and attempt to survive against the Xenomorph population.

Aliens: Colonial Marines will be available on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.

Capcom fans have been rewarded with a new Asura’s Wrath trailer, thanks to some global rage.

Heading over to the facebook page and helping to spread the word unlocks new footage, and it seems that one of the targets has been met, because there is a new video below.

Asura’s Wrath is out in the UK & Europe on February 24th 2012, with the U.S getting the game three days earlier.

CD Projekt RED has released a video developer diary offering some fresh info about The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings for Xbox 360.

Compared with the PC version, gameplay has been extended through the addition of new quests and locations, while The Witcher 2′s plot becomes even more complex with the introduction of major new NPCs who intensify the struggle for power in the Northern Kingdoms.

Also, the Xbox 360 version will incorporate all DLCs and upgrades made available thus far for the game’s original platform (including the Arena arcade mode and Tutorial that were part of the latest and richest PC version.

The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings for Xbox 360 due to be launched on April 17th.
